Point Two Inflatable Air Vest  

As well as the obvious protection from shock absorption, the Point Two Inflatable Vest distributes pressure and above all, effectively supports the spinal column so that the neck and trunk have limited movement in the event of a fall from your horse or carriage .  
For your protection, a simple “click” is all it takes to connect you to the saddle or carriage

If you are unseated from your horse or carriage the airbag system is designed to be effective in 0.1 seconds

For Drivers: The Lanyard of the vest connects with a simple clip to your carriage. Depending on your carriage it may be attached to the underside of your carriage seat, or a simple eye bolt installation may be required.  The lanyard allows for full movement of the driver while driving marathon hazards. The airbag will only be activated if the driver is separated from the carriage. The airbag vest will then inflate within 0.1 seconds, protecting the all important areas of the body, the collar of the neck, ribs and coccyx.

For Riders: The Lanyard of the vest connects with the nylon stirrup straps at the front of the saddle. After the rider has mounted the saddle, he or she clips the 2 ends together. The Lanyard enables full movement in all directions for the rider. The airbag will only be activated if the rider is separated from the horse. The airbag vest will then inflate within 0.1 seconds, protecting the all important areas of the body, the collar of the neck, ribs and coccyx.

The new system means that your vest will be fully inflated after activation in 0.1 of a second, so should inflation begin from as little as 25cm from the ground your Point Two Air Vest will be inflated before you impact the ground. The vest is completely reusable by replacing the CO2 gas cartridge. The highly resistant polyester fabric can be brushed or sponged down to remove stains.

CO2 Canisters are not returnable.

• Advanced Equine Products recommends the airbag is serviced yearly, or every 6 inflation's always check for wear and tear if you are at all concerned send jacket in for a service.
• The Point Two air jackets are currently not BETA approved. They have been designed as a top up protection system to wear along side a BETA or European standard approved body protector. (Such as a Charles Owen Vest)
• Point Two air jackets are reusable. You only need to replace the CO2 cylinder after each inflation & reset the activation key into the trigger mechanism . You must check your jacket carefully for damage after every inflation.
• CO2 cylinders can only be used once & then must be replaced.
• Your Point Two Air Jacket is designed for use at home and competition. Please note EVENT RIDERS: When you are competing in Europe you must wear your Point Two Air Jacket alongside your European standard Body Protector such as the Charles Owen JL9.
• DRIVERS Competiting in the USA and abroad may choose to wear the Pro Air Vest with or without the additional body protector.

Air Vest Sizing
Sizes Small (25.5 inches)  for Driver/Rider Height: 4'11"- 5'4"
Medium (27 inches)  for Driver/Rider Height: 5'4" to 5'9"
Large (28.5 inches)  for Driver/Rider Height: 5'9" - 6'2"

These are only approximations as it will depend if you are wearing a body protector and which type. Ideally the jacket should fall just below your coccyx
