A Post / Butterfly driving bit is a version of a Pelham which offers a compromise action between the snaffle and curb bits. The Pelham exerts pressure on the poll, the curb groove and all the points in the mouth. Usually offered in either a 2 loop or 3 loop version, although rein placement is still fairly limited.
