Driving lines (or reins) are a very personal choice item. We understand that drivers have very special needs since the rein is one of our few very important aids in communication with the horse or pony. With this in mind we offer a selection of high quality synthetic and leather reins from around the world, we also have the ability to provide you with completely custom reins.

Kieffer Synthetic Reins: are constructed with synthetic strapping for the front section to the billet. Then a grip material with woven rubber is for the hand section. Kieffer reins have very soft edges, feeling very nice in the hand.

Zilco Reins: Zilco offers two styles of reins:
Z-Grip: made from a matt dark brown material which has the similair weight and appearnace of leather. Billets are reinforced and the hand section has sewn stops at intervals along the rein to prevent being pulled through the fingers. Z-Grip gives a consistent feel in wet or dry conditions. Stretch is very limited.
S-Grip: Also known for years as Sure grip. The front section and billiets is made from zilco's sealed strapping, then the hand section incorporates rubberized thread to give good grip in all weather conditions. The weight and feel of the reins is designed for optimum comfort in the drivers hand.

AEP Leather and Leather Combi Reins: High Quality Leather reins made in the USA. We stock them in several sizes and lengths but can also special order reins to suit your needs. Single, Pair, Team and Tandem. We can also combine leather with soft cotton rubberized grip for a completely custom rein. Please contact us for details.
