E.A. Mattes products are made in Poland from select high quality materials. The raw skins for Mattes sheepskin products are selected by the company’s own specialists to ensure adherence to its strict standards. Once selected, they are dressed in the company’s own tannery and manufactured into finished goods in its manufacturing plant.

A cross between Suffolk and Merino Wool for ultiamte softness and durability. These harness pads won’t “bottom out or collapse” and while wool is simply the best thing for your horse’s back, it eliminates shifting as well.
Mattes have also added one layer of poly flex throughout the pad this helps with shape retention.
Only Mattes pads offer complete custom adjustment with velcro loops that can be placed anywhere on the pad.
