Why Choose Buckle Reins?
Traditionally styled reins with a coupling buckle on the draft reins for the usual adjustments to be made.

Why Choose FIXED Leader Reins?
Fixed leader reins are made by securely sewing the coupling reininto the draft rein. The joint is smooth and strong.
This makes them more suitable for Marathon type driving becuase there is no risk of getting a coupling buckle caught up on the roger rings when turning the leaders sharply. To allow the usual adjustment of coupling reins, fixed leader reins are made with extra holes on the billet so adjustment can be made from the front (at the bit) end.
